Well, first day there. A big day, really, but well... Not that interesting. I had a good flight, besides EasyJet's awful seats... Ever been sitting on a woodbench for two hours ? Well, pain's the same, but at least you're not thousands of meters above sea level.
A 45 minutes coach ride later, we're in Wrexham, North Wales. It's not exactly how I thought it would be. You can forget every myth about Great Britain and rain. It's not raining. There must be another word for it, you can't call that continuous dripping of water "rain". I'd be better off with a big rainfall than *that*. But well it's not that bad. We have an Aldi and a Sainsbury's a stonethrow from here, and that magnificent restaurant where we ate today. It's called Franky & Bennie's or something like that. It's supposed to be an Italian Restaurant like in New York. Waitresses are pretty, service is quick and efficient but hell... What we had in our plates can't be food. At least, my plate was full of something that must have been pastas a long time ago. The others had a sort of hybrid of pancake and pizza. Basically no dow, no crust, and no filling. When you pay your pizza 8£, you'd like to have something to eat.
Rooms are pretty much the same as INSA's, except for a private bathroom. I had a nice suprise when I realized my DS' AC worked on 110V, so I stopped looking for a converter. I might have the Internet for the month, but I'm still wondering if I'm going to pay the 25£ they're asking (that's about 40€ if you wondered). Yeah. 40€ for the Internet, and you only have access to webpages. No ftp, no ssh, no nothing. And no wifi around either. Kinda sucks.
We have a kitchen and all, but they don't provide us any cooking set, or plates, or forks or whatever you need to eat. Bothers me to buy them for only a month. So far, I've fed on microwave hamburgers and pints of stout. Should do the trick 'till I figure out something else.
That's all for today, tomorrow first class day, we'll see if the teachers match the lame rooms and the bad food. See y'all soon.
